Praslin for the Vallee de Mai palm forest, Anse Lazio and Anse Georgette, and as the hub for the boat trips to Curieuse, Cousin and Aride. La Digue for Anse Source d’Argent, bicycles and a pace that makes the other two feel busy. The private islands, from North and Fregate to the Waldorf Astoria out on Platte, are a separate and much more expensive holiday that happens to share an airport.
