Cairo first: Giza and the Grand Egyptian Museum on one day, Saqqara and Coptic Cairo on another, Islamic Cairo and the bazaar on a third. Then fly to Luxor for Karnak, the Valley of the Kings and a dawn balloon, board a Luxor-to-Aswan cruise calling at Edfu and Kom Ombo, and finish in Aswan with Philae, a felucca at sunset and the early run to Abu Simbel.
